KBShimmer - Spring 2013 Collection!

Hello Everyone!! Hope you all had a nice weekend!!  I think it went too quickly, but I did get a few things done! And some relaxing, which was needed after the crazy work week I had!  Hoping this week is better ;-)  I also got to have my little sister, Rachel, over for a bit on Saturday!  We chatted and she painted her nails with I Got A Crush On Blue!  I posted a couple pics below!

Today I have the Spring 2013 collection from KBShimmer!! YAY!  These are all stunning.  I can't even pick a favorite.  You can see the press release information and the other four polishes in this collection - HERE!

As previously mentioned in the release:
KBSHIMMER ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF NINE NEW POLISHES

KBShimmer Spring Polish Line Set For Release February 15th, 2013

KBShimmer is excited to announce the addition of 9 new colors to their 3-Free glitter polish line. Owner Christy Rose says "With Easter, warmer weather, and Spring Break fast approaching February is the ideal time to introduce softer pastels to our lineup, but also to add a splash of bold color."
The spring lineup includes three glitter top coats, two bold jellies, and four creamy pastels, one of which is scented. "Our new line was created to play off the softer palette of spring, but also to accent unique glitters like small black dots and spring 2013 Pantone colors like the color of the year, Emerald Green. We are also excited to debut this collection in our new printed bottles. With the printed bottles, and our glitter grabbing flat brush, we feel our polish is a solid addition to any collection" says Rose.

I was SO excited to try KBShimmer's new top coat, Clearly On Top.  It is fantastic and I've used it for every manicure shown today.  It is thicker than Wicked Fast by Cult Nails and a bit thinner than Seche Vite.  It has quick drying time and applies perfectly!  I'm a fan!!  I'm going to have to get some more ;-)

First we have Where My Peeps At - Soft yellow crelly with circle and tiny hex glitter in fun jelly bean like shades - Full coverage in 2-3 coats

I use 2 coats and Clearly On Top.

This polish is so fun!  And what an adorable name!  I love all the circle glitters in here along with the tiny glitters in matching colors.  It kind of reminds me of a party with confetti.

A delicious close up!

Next we have Spring Training - Soft green crelly full of pink, purple, blue and green floral toned glitters, scented with a floral freesia note - Full coverage in 2-3 coats

I used 2 coats with Clearly On Top.

This one was a surprise favorite for me!  The beautiful light mint green is stunning!  And it applies like a dream.  I am loving KBShimmer's new brushes.  The glitters in this are beautiful and it definitely reminds me that Spring is coming...hopefully very soon!

Close Up!  I love the different size glitters in this and that you can see them through the 2 coats!

Next we have Get Clover It - Emerald green jelly with micro shimmer and circle glitter in shades of green, gold and turquoise- Best in 3 coats or layered over coordinating polish to cover nail line.

This is actually 2 coats with 1 coat over the accent ring finger over black.  I topped with Clearly On Top.  I really liked it like this!  I think two coats is great coverage for me and love all the circle glitters that applied!

How stunning are all these circle glitters in this deep green jelly!?  I just love the micro shimmer of green through this as well.  It really brings the polish together for a beautiful look.

So I decided to add another coat to all the nails except for the accent finger and topped them with Clearly On Top again.  This makes it look deeper and covers any hint of nail line.

This is one of the prettiest polishes!  The circles look awesome together.

Next we have I Got A Crush On Blue - Royal blue jelly with holographic silver glitters ranging from micro to extra large- Best in 3 coats or layered over coordinating polish to cover nail line.

I think this is my favorite.  I really can't deny that I love them all, but this one is just breathtaking.  The bottle alone should be placed in a spot where you can just look at it all day.  I know, maybe I sound crazy, but keep an eye on the bottle in these pictures below and see how gorgeous this is!

I used 2 coats and 1 coat over the accent nail (1 coat black) and topped with Clearly On Top.

The holographic glitters are enhanced by the jelly.  I love that they manage to still shine through the base, giving such a starry night look.

Close up! *drool*

Again, I added a third coat to the nails (except accent - I should have tried a second coat on the accent, but I wasn't thinking - SO sorry!).  I topped again with Clearly On Top.  Look at how deep it looks?  I feel like I could jump in that blue!

At least I'm not the only one that thinks it looks deep.  Mr. CC said the same thing when I showed him!  I think I've trained him well hehehe :-D

Again, the tiny holographic sprinkles through this make this polish complete with the medium and large hexagons.

And here is my sister's nails!! She used a base of 1 coat of OPI Dating A Royal and 1 coat of I Got A Crush On Blue with Clearly On Top.  I love it on her!

For the next mani, I started with a base of 1 coat of China Glaze Tantalize Me and 1 coat of a black cream.

Last but not least, we have Squared Away - Square glitters in a variety of sizes, colors and finishes including metallic and holographic in a clear base - Top Coat.

I used 1 coat of Squared Away and topped with Clearly On Top.

I love this with Tantalize Me! It screams Spring to me!! Oh how fun are these squares!  A few of the squares are holographic, so they shine beautifully!  The others are foil and reflect beautifully as well.
